Here is a short bio about our speaker 

Brian Triplett has been employed with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension since 1993. He holds a BS in Animal Science and an MS in Beef Cattle Reproduction from Texas A&M University. He also holds a Doctor of Education in Agricultural Education from Texas A&M and Texas Tech Universities.

Brian serves as the County Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources in Bowie County. He and his wife Tracy live on a small farm outside of DeKalb. He has one son who recently married and another who will graduate high school in May. He enjoys spending time with his family, raising farm animals, and gardening.

His professional interests include livestock and forage management; wildlife and pond management; adult volunteer development; and small-scale horticulture crops. He serves as the advisor to the Bowie County Master Gardeners, a group of Master Volunteers who give back to the community through horticulture-related projects.
